Selection process

The selection process will be executed in stages and will combine the results of a peer review process and the opinion of the FIA constituency, assuring originality, foresight and a balance of topics.

In the first stage extended abstracts will be peer reviewed by at least three members of the programme committee. Selection criteria include: overall contribution to the Future Internet, clarity and originality of concepts or ideas, technical accuracy, the significance of results, and the overall quality of presentation.

The best contributions will be invited to present their paper at a poster session during the undefined4th Future Internet Assembly which will take place in Stockholm on 23-24 November 2009. At the poster session, the FIA constituency will be invited to express its opinion on the contributions. The opinion of the FIA constituency will be used to invite the best contributions for the development of full papers.

At the Future Internet Conference in Valencia, best contributions will be presented with an award.
