The Internet of Things 2010 Conference will take place in Tokyo, November 29 – December 1, 2010.
The call for papers and workshops has just opened and will close on 1 June 2010!
This conference will continue the success of the
Internet of Things conference from 2008 in Zurich. It brings internationally leading researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry together to facilitate sharing of applications, research results, and knowledge. The IoT2010 particularly encourages research on infrastructure and applications facilitating environmentally responsibility under a theme "IoT for a Green Planet".
The Internet of Things Conference 2010 will explore the technical requirements and business challenges of integrating physical items into today’s internet. This Internet of Things shall be applied to address various societal challenges: health monitoring systems to support the aging society, distributed awareness to help predict natural disasters, transparency of transportation to reduce carbon footprint, product lifetime information to improve recyclability, and general visualization of processes to optimize efficiency.
