This open event will raise awareness among all interested stakeholders, about the concepts, focus, structure and implementation plans of the Future Internet Public-Private-Partnership. It is also a unique opportunity for contributing your vision on how such partnerships will transform the Internet to support applications of important social value.

Open high-level launch event of the Public-Private Partnership on the Future Internet, Valencia, 14 April 2010

You are kindly invited to attend the Conference The European Framework Programmes: From Economic Recovery to Sustainability which will be the key public event in a series of new Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) as cornerstone of the smart investments of the European Economic Recovery Plan:

 

Factories of the Future (FoF) - 13 April
Energy Efficient Buildings (EeB) - 13 April
Green Cars (GCI) - 14 April
Future Internet (FI) - 14 April


Opened by Francisco Ros, Spanish State Secretary of Telecommunications and Information Society and with a keynote address by Neelie Kroes, Commissioner for European Digital Agenda, the conference will host a number of high-level debates on the future of the Internet, including the formal high-level launch of the European public-private partnership on the Future Internet.
The week long conference hosts many side events, on the Future Internet, on Celtic, on NESSI, and on many more topics!

The conference is free of charge, and strong interest is expected. Hotels next to the conference centre include the Sorolla Palace Hotel and the Hilton Valencia, further accommodation can be found on the conference site.
