FIA'09 Conference - Prague 11-13 May 2009
The preparation of the 3rd Future Internet Assembly, the FIA'09 Conference in Prague (www.fi-prague.eu) progresses very well.
The first day of the event will be opened by Commissioner Viviane Reding and Minister Ondrij Liška. This will be followed by the "ribbon cutting ceremony" inaugurating the Future Internet Forum to which 18 Member States have confirmed their participation. This shows that the Future Internet is an important topic not only for industry and academia but also for Europe and the EU Member countries.
Given the importance everyone attaches to progress the Future Internet debate and activities in Europe, we would expect an appropriate level of participation by all FIA project members. With 3 parallel sessions a minimum of 3 participants per project should be considered, however should more people wish to contribute to the FIA process they are welcome.
Check the agenda and register at the conference website www.fi-prague.eu. Detailed plans for the seven different FIA Breakout Sessions are being finalised and will shortly become available on the FIA community site www.future-internet.eu.
