Are you feeling artistic? Draw a diagram depicting the Future Internet Landscape

In the previous Future Internet newsletter, a contest was run in an attempt to capture a comprehensive diagram showing as many or all of the EU related Future Internet landscape components and indicating how they inter-relate with one another including programs, initiatives, platforms, events and other elements of interest. In response, we received a candidate figure from FIA Steering Committee member Didier Bourse of Alcatel-Lucent that could be used as an inspirational example. In this newsletter, we are renewing the contest asking the FIA community to use this candidate figure as an example to generate some additional ideas to update this or provide alternative figures to enter the contest.

As described in the "undefinedWhat is FIA" document, there are two types of results and activities related to the Future Internet Assembly (FIA):

1. Results and activities related to Future Internet's (FI's) concertation, processes and promotion;
2. Results and activities related to the definition(s), technical challenges, developments, progress and unification in FI.

While we are all well aware of (some of the) the individual elements of the Future Internet (FI) landscape in the EU to which we participate, there currently is no individual diagram(s) pulling all of them together showing interconnections and how they inter-relate to one another. Therefore, a contest is being run via the FIA newsletter for those that are artistically inclined to generate a comprehensive set of diagrams showing as many or all of the elements EU related Future Internet landscape components and indicating how they inter-relate with one another including programs, initiatives, platforms, events and other elements of interest (some individual examples are given below). The diagrams should clearly differentiate between the two types of results and activities as follows yet show their integration points.

1. FIA and related initiatives/activities related to FI's concertation, processes and promotion;
2.FIA and related initiatives/activities related to definition(s), technical challenges, developments, progress and unification in FI.
