11:00 – 13:00 Plenary session: Future Internet PPP
Theme: The session will focus on launch and presentation of the Future Internet Public- Private Partnership projects. Industrial leaders of some of the selected projects will in interview-style report on what is planned to make Europe ready for the next generation Internet.
Taking place in a roundtable format, the session will be chaired by Peter O'Donnell, associate editor of the European Voice. Following a series of opening statements, in which participants unfold the different aspects of the PPP, the roundtable will discuss what is new in this FI-PPP, how the participating projects will achieve effective collaboration, how user-led innovation will be created and how others can innovate on the platform build by the PPP.
