TridentCom 2012, Call for papers

8th International ICST Conference on Testbeds and Research Infrastructures for the Development of Networks and Communities

11-13 June 2012 Thessaloniki, Greece

SCOPE

TridentCom 2012 will be held in Thessaloniki, Greece, 11-13 of June 2012, with the vision to bring together technical experts and researchers from academia, industry and government all around the world to discuss experimental research infrastructures of the Future Internet. Tridentcom 2012 will serve as a forum where researchers, vendors, providers and users will exchange ideas on past experience, requirements, needs and visions for establishing the research experimental infrastructures of the Future Internet. Apart from regular paper presentations, Tridentcom 2012 will feature a reach variety of other activities such as tutorials, workshops, panels and demos in order to enhance the visibility of innovative mechanisms and practices in the field as well as to strengthen the interaction and the communication in the community of research testbeds.

PUBLICATION

All submitted contributions will undergo peer review. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference and published in the TridentCom Conference Proceedings and by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes of ICST (LNICST). The proceedings will be available both in book form and via the SpringerLink digital library, which is one of the largest digital libraries online and covers a variety of scientific disciplines. LNICST volumes are submitted for inclusion to leading indexing services, including DBLP, Google Scholar, ACM Digital Library, ISI Proceedings, EI Engineering Index, CrossRef, Scopus and Zentralblatt Math, as well as ICST's own EU Digital Library (EUDL).

TOPICS

Prospective authors are invited to submit high quality papers reporting results on activities related to the establishment of the research experimental infrastructures of the Future Internet. In particular, the focus of the conference is on experimentation such as testing, verification, deployment, integration, management and federation of testbed facilities as well as experimentation oriented research based on implementation of novel schemes on research testbeds, including, but not limited to:

  • Testbed tools for interoperability and benchmarking

WORKSHOP/TUTORIAL TRACK PROPOSALS

Proposals for workshop/tutorial tracks are solicited. Potential organizers are welcome to submit proposals to the respective Chairs.

DEMO/POSTER PROPOSALS

An exciting demo/poster section will demonstrate the latest trends on testbeds experimentation and implementation. Potential presenters are welcome to submit their work to the respective Chairs.
