"IoT sans frontieres - The Internet of Things without borders", 1st IoT International Forum Event

23-24 November 2011, Berlin, Germany

This is the motto of the IoT International Forum, recently launched by The Internet of Things Initiative (IoT-i) in conjunction with CASAGRAS2, the China Academy of Telecommunication Research (CATR) and Wuxi SensingNet, and with the support of the European Commission.

No borders for research, collaboration and our joint vision, a united Internet of Things fostering business, societal development, knowledge, innovation and growth. The IoT International Forum is a one-stop shop for actors to come together from both the global IoT community and from domains which could benefit from IoT.

The main aims of the Forum are:

  • to realise a vision of a common IoT, with the potential to bring large scale societal benefits
  • to identify and help breakdown barriers to a common IoT
  • to inform the wider world as to the potential benefits of the IoT
  • to bring the IoT community together in  pre-competitive collaboration, and to meet with other communities

We would like to invite you to the first meeting of the Internet of Things International Forum:
